On Day 3, the contingent of Malaysia Startups embarked on an eye-opening industrial visit to the Office of Innovation & Entrepreneurship at George Washington University (GW). Renowned for its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship, GW is a leading research university that actively promotes the lean startup methodology among academics and scientists. It also serves as a training ground for international university researchers, including those from prestigious Korean universities.
GW has also strategically engaged successful venture capital managers and startup founders to bolster its ecosystem further and accelerate the growth of its academics and graduate students.
This visit to the inspired the entire group and serves as an example to model after the institution’s commitment to cultivating a dynamic environment that nurtures innovation, entrepreneurship, and academic excellence.
