TRAVEL PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT & MARKETING MANAGER

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Travel Manager to oversee both inbound and outbound travel product. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in travel management, exceptional organizational skills, and a keen understanding of market trends. As a Product Travel Manager, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing travel products, ensuring seamless operations, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct market research to identify travel trends and opportunities.
  2. Develop and enhance travel products to meet customer demands and market needs.
  3. Collaborate with vendors and partners to negotiate and secure favorable contracts.
  4. Ensure efficient and cost-effective logistics, including transportation, accommodation, and activities.
  5. Implement and maintain standard operating procedures for smooth operations.
  6. Monitor customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance the overall travel experience.
  7. Develop and manage budgets for travel products, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
  8. Stay informed about industry regulations and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
  9. Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential issues during travel operations.
  10. Collaborate with the marketing team to create and execute effective promotional campaigns.
  11. Develop marketing materials to showcase travel products and attract new customers.
  12. Generate regular reports on key performance indicators and travel product performance.
  13. Conduct analysis to identify areas for improvement and optimization.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in travel management, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
  3. In-depth knowledge of inbound and outbound travel industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
  4. Strong command in English both oral and written. Added proficiency in Bahasa and Mandarin is an advantage.
  5. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  7. Proficient in Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint, working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI would be an advantage.
  8. Knowledge of relevant travel management software and tools is a plus.
  9. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
